Hospital and School Visits

Monday 6th July – we did our annual visit to Nonga Hospital Maternity Ward and this year we brought some items to the Childrenโ€™s Ward – as always was a lovely experience to talk to the new mothers and fathers and meet their beautiful new borns.

Visiting the 2 childrenโ€™s wards and meeting the amazing staff that care for the children there was a highlight. We thanked and praised the amazing staff for their loving hearts and dedication to caring for their patients – despite the limited resources! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿฅฐ

Next stop Vunairoto – Elementary School on the beach – we met some of the teachers and some of the children (big rain that day so no school) – lovely spot for a school looking out to Watom Island!

Then on to Vunairoto Primary and FODE campus, the Principal and teachers welcomed us to their beautiful school. We were greeted by signs in the gardens brandishing words of positive affirmations to inspire and guide the students!

Alli, Eileen and Monique all spoke to what the ENB QLD Community Inc. is about and our purpose! The staff would like to pass on their thanks and gratitude to all our members and supporters in Brisbane who work hard to ensure each year that the container comes to ENBP.

Was a wonderful day and we are blessed to visit and meet some of our recipients.
